null What We Believe...

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

God's Word - the Bible
God’s Word, recorded in the Bible, is the foundation of everything we believe, teach and confess. It is through His living, powerful, transformational Word that He makes himself known as our loving, heavenly Father.
As a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) , St Paul accepts and preaches the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther, who inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century.
The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.

Grace Alone
God loves all the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.

Faith Alone
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, through His resurrection Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.

Scripture Alone
The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.

null Communion...

Please join us at the Lord’s table if you answer “Yes!” to the following:
1. I believe that I am a sinner without hope of eternal life except for God’s mercy offered through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
2. I repent of my sins in thought, speech, and behavior.
3. I believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and my personal Savior.
4. Jesus Christ is personally and physically present in the sacrament of Holy Communion with His body and His blood.
5. I desire by the power of the Holy Spirit and the instruction of God’s Word to live a life pleasing to Him.

We invite all who know Jesus as their Savior and Lord and who understand that the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ are truly present in the Lord's Supper to come to Communion with us. Children are encouraged to come with the adults and receive a blessing. If you are unable to come to the front for Communion, please notify the usher, and Communion will be brought to you.
